One year a blogger🥳🥳
Wow! I’ve officially been a ‘blogger’ for a year now. The usual thing to say after that is ‘it’s just like yesterday when I started’ but to be very honest, it feels like eons ago since I published my first blog post. Also, the actual bloggiversary day was weeks ago but I somehow didn’t get around to publishing the post on time. No excuses really. Cervical Cancer Prevention: What you need to know about getting screened and vaccinated.
January has been tagged the month for promoting awareness on cervical cancer and its prevention. This is a good step towards fighting the disease, however, awareness without action gives similar results as a lack of awareness will. 2019 in retrospect: THANKFUL
2019 is almost over! Am I excited? Am I glad? Tbh, I really can’t say, majorly because, in recent years, I have stopped being so freaked about the new year, new months and all that. What does SUCCESS mean to you?
Since completing my medical internship year, I’ve increasingly become occupied with trying to define, for myself, what success means. In a world where there are so many attractions, one sees different shades of what success seems to be almost daily. As much as we like to say success isn’t equivalent to making money, the world over, money seems to be a unifying factor among all notable success stories. A common definition of success has to do with fame and wealth, with little regard of how it is gotten, and at what cost.
